Invitation to Complimentary Breakfast Seminar
10 Mar 2022
In the aftermath of the coronavirus pandemic, as a result of government support measures, over SEK 50 billion in deferred taxes are outstanding among more than 50,000 Swedish companies. The Swedish Tax Agency has admittedly granted generous repayment terms for these deferrals, but the debts accrue interest and a special deferral fee, and in due course the debts must be settled. Experience from previous extended tax deferral periods, such as after the 2008 financial crisis, indicates difficulties for companies in repaying deferred taxes, with an increased risk of insolvency and bankruptcy as a consequence.
Is there a tax deferral pandemic underway? – Is bankruptcy then the only alternative, or are there other effective remedies in the event of insolvency?
A seminar on this matter will be held at the offices of Advokatfirman Carler at Kungsgatan 28 in Stockholm on March 30 and April 29, 2022, from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM. Breakfast will be served from 7:30 AM.
Please register as soon as possible, as there are a limited number of places available. Send your registration to [email protected].
