TENDER DOCUMENTATION – Free2Move AB in bankruptcy
12 Oct 2026
Regarding the sale of business operations and assets in the Free2Move bankruptcy

Background
On October 1, 2026, Free2Move AB (556587-0895) and Free2Move Holding AB (556705-0157) were declared bankrupt, and attorney Dan Bengtsson at Carler Law Firm was appointed as bankruptcy trustee.
Free2Move has conducted operations in digitalization and technical property management with a focus on smart building control, energy efficiency, and sustainable technical solutions. The business has primarily focused on developing and providing digital solutions that enable more efficient property operations, reduced energy consumption, and improved net operating income for property owners.
The business was operational at the time of the bankruptcy decision, and Free2Move AB has six employees.
The 2Connect Platform
Since 2018, Free2Move AB’s operations have primarily focused on the development of the proprietary and completely brand-independent digital platform 2Connect. The platform is a cloud-based SaaS solution (Software as a Service) for digital property management that enables connection, monitoring, analysis, and control of properties’ technical systems and energy consumption. Through the platform, property owners can consolidate various aspects of property operations into a unified system with functions including alarm management, documentation, operational planning, automated reporting, and AI-based energy optimization.
The company has not only been able to deliver a well-functioning platform but has also offered its customers customizations according to their needs along with installations of physical meters, sensors, and transmitters. This may include, for example, smart greenhouses, intelligent hay dryers, behavior measurement in kitchens, connection of hydroelectric power plants, custom AI models, and much more.
The company has also offered comprehensive solutions in electrical inspection and energy optimization, where inspection of electrical installations has been combined with analysis of energy use and power demand. The services have aimed to identify risk areas, fulfill documentation requirements, and detect abnormal energy consumption and cost-driving peak demand charges. Through the use of 2Connect, customers have been able to gain better control over property operations and improved decision-making support for future investments and measures.
The company’s business model has focused on providing customized digital solutions for property owners and other stakeholders in the real estate industry. Within the scope of operations, the company has built up a customer register consisting of both companies and housing cooperatives.
The company currently has 24 active customers using the platform. The company continues to receive ongoing inquiries from new customers.
For more information and a comprehensive presentation of the 2Connect platform, see Appendix 1.
The technical development and programming of the 2Connect platform has been conducted in Malaysia through the wholly owned Malaysian subsidiary Sensmaster Sdn. Bhd., which has participated in the development and technical management of the platform. Four people work at Sensmaster, including three developers and one administrator.

Other Development Projects – MyEden
In addition to the 2Connect platform, Free2Move AB has developed the “MyEden” system for a customer. Free2Move AB has built the system, handles all support and further development on behalf of the customer. Free2Move AB does not own the system but operates it under agreement with the customer.
Within the scope of the project, Free2Move AB has conducted development activities in IoT-based (Internet of Things) climate systems for greenhouses through the MyEden development project, primarily targeting the consumer market.
The MyEden project has included the development of technical solutions for intelligent climate control through connection and integration with existing systems. Through the use of open interfaces, the intention has been to enable modernization of existing technical equipment without requiring replacement.
The climate system developed within the MyEden framework enables remote control and monitoring of greenhouse climate through the cloud-based 2Connect platform. The system has been designed to automatically adjust climate control based on factors including current weather conditions, light influx, temperature, and humidity. The system also includes functions for preset climate modes and energy-efficient operation.
