REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS – Aurora Punks Development Services AB
Regarding the sale of business operations and assets in the bankruptcy of Aurora Punks Development Services AB
30 Dec 2025
Background
On December 12, 2025, Aurora Punks Development Services AB, 559320-7466, was declared bankrupt by Umeå District Court, and attorney Nils Åberg of Advokatfirman Carler was appointed as bankruptcy trustee.
Aurora Punks Development Services is a complete and experienced partner in game development, built on three strong pillars: problem-solving, deep industry knowledge, and innovative thinking. The business is designed to handle the complexity of game development while creating genuine business value.
The company’s operations are primarily conducted within two business areas. The first consists of consulting assignments for other companies, both in Sweden and internationally, where the company contributes specialist expertise regarding game launches. This may include everything from technical support and project management to marketing and distribution across various platforms, and constitutes the majority of the company’s daily operations. The second business area is proprietary game development, where the company develops games from the ground up and sells them directly to end customers. Here, the company is responsible for the entire process—from concept and development to launch, sales, maintenance, and monitoring of the games’ market performance. Together, these two business areas offer a strong platform that combines consulting services with high potential for growth and value creation through proprietary game projects and IP.
The company’s vision is to provide customized solutions for various customer needs. Against this background, the company has built up a solid customer base comprising both large national and international clients. This constitutes a stable foundation for the company’s future growth and continued development.
The company’s operations are conducted from premises in Södermalm, Stockholm, well-equipped with hardware and technical equipment for game development, testing, and launch, workstations for programming, design, and project management. The company currently has approximately fifteen employees. During the fiscal year 2024, the company had a net turnover of SEK 10,359,254.
