Background

IOGE AB, 559182-3678, was declared bankrupt on August 28, 2024. IOGE AB has conducted restaurant and catering operations from central premises in Uppsala under the name “OPA! Greek Cuisine”.

At the onset of the bankruptcy, the company’s operations were ongoing; the company has a few part-time employees.

The bankruptcy estate hereby invites tenders for the business and its assets.

The Business and Its Assets

The assets offered for sale by the bankruptcy estate are:

a) Fixtures and fittings etc. (restaurant interior and kitchen equipment), see list in appendix 1

b) Intangible assets in the form of the domain www.opauppsala.se with the associated website.

c) The opportunity for a buyer to enter into one or more of the company’s existing agreements, e.g., lease agreements (as a general rule, the counterparty’s approval is required).

Lease agreement and premises

The company leases premises at Dragarbrunnsgatan 21 in Uppsala (in the St Per Gallerian). The premises are 211 sqm (street level) with an associated storage room in the basement of 20 sqm. The landlord is Skandia Fastigheter.

Reservations and implementation of the bidding process

The bankruptcy estate transfers all property in its current condition. It is the responsibility of a buyer to carry out the necessary inspection of the property for the purpose of clarifying, for example, the scope of the property and to detect any faults or deficiencies. The bankruptcy estate does not provide any guarantees regarding the accuracy and completeness of the information provided in this tender documentation or otherwise.

Written tenders, excluding value-added tax, regarding the business and/or the assets, must be received by the bankruptcy trustee via Andrea Anjou at [email protected] no later than September 6, 2024.

The right to freely evaluate received bids is reserved, as is the right to sell all or part of the business while the tender process is ongoing, and the right to extend the tender period.
